Und danach war ich bei der Bundeswehr in Spanien und sofort nach der Bundeswehr kam ich hier nach Deutschland. Ich glaube, ich war 23 Jahre alt. Das war 1973 und ja, das war eine andere Zeit. Dieses Heim von Karmann, das war besser als das vorherige in der Bohmter Straße gegenüber vom Hotel Ritz. Das war ein Neubau. In jedem Zimmer waren vier Mann und jedes Zimmer hatte eine kleine Küche und ein Bad. Das war bequem, also es war okay. Leute aus Deutschland haben uns in Spanien rekrutiert, alles junge Leute und sie hatten uns vorher überall untersucht. Ich wollte als Dreher zu Karmann. Damals waren in dieser Zeit keine Plätze frei als Dreher und dann arbeitete ich als Werkzeugbauer. Da war ich drei, vier Jahre gewesen und dann habe ich sofort angefangen, als ich nach Deutschland kam, eine Sprachschule zu besuchen, um Deutsch zu lernen. Nach diesen drei oder vier Jahren im Werkzeugbau bin ich zum Modellbau. Modellbau, das war eine Abteilung und als Technik sehr schwierig, aber es war sauber und bequemer. Wir haben die Modelle gebaut mit Styropor und in den letzten acht Jahren war ich Vorarbeiter. Also für mich war es nicht so schlecht wie [für] [...]. Es war viel besser.
