TOP 1.: Fragen zum Studium Herr Niemann berichtet über Lösungen zur Steuerung der Kapazitätsprobleme in der Didaktik: die Einrichtung einer Juniorprofessur für Didaktik der Geschichte steht offenbar unmittelbar bevor. Darüber hinaus hat Herr Niemann im Rahmen des Programms ›Mithelfende Lehrer‹ eine Abordnung von Herrn Jansen (Konrektor, Realschule Bad Iburg) beantragt, der einen Lehrauftrag Didaktik übernehmen wird. Die geringe Zahl der Studierenden im Fach-Master Geschichte kann, so Herr Niemann weiter, vornehmlich darauf zurückzuführen werden, dass bislang die Zahl der BachelorAbsolventen sehr klein geblieben ist. Um mehr Werbung für die Studienangebote des Faches Geschichte zu bieten, muss auch die verbreitete Nutzung des Internets für die Studienplatzwahl berücksichtigt werden. In der Diskussion wird eine inhaltliche Ergänzung und Neugestaltung der Website des Faches angeregt. �2 Herr Niemann weist darauf hin, dass das Fach Geschichte grundsätzlich bereit ist, die Arbeit der Fachschaft auch finanziell zu unterstützen. Herr Wiegels betont, dass grundlegend hierfür die Vorlage eines Finanzplans durch die Fachschaft ist. Herr Wiegels berichtet, dass der N.C. für das Fach Geschichte mit 1,9 sehr hoch ist und bei rund 500 Bewerbungen nur 46 Studienanfänger aufgenommen worden sind. In der Diskussion wird zu prüfen angeregt, von welcher Kapazität aus dieser N.C. berechnet worden ist. Ausgelotet werden soll außerdem, welche Handlungsspielräume das Fach hat, um Einfluss auf die zukünftige Gestaltung dieser Aufnahmekapazitäten zu nehmen. Herrn Wiegels berichtet, dass 2008 mehr Mittel für Nicht-Pflichtexkursionen zur Verfügung stehen. Das betrifft auch das Fach Geschichte. Von den Studierenden wird darauf hingewiesen, dass einige Vorlesungen so stark besucht sind, dass die Veranstaltungsräume nicht ausreichen. Aufmerksam gemacht wird auch auf die überaus große Zahl von Gaststudierenden in diesen Veranstaltungen, die es aus Sicht der Studierenden den regulär Eingeschriebenen erschwert, diese Veranstaltungen zu besuchen.
