Engelbert Thorwesten wurde in Münster als Sohn eines Weichenstellers geboren und arbeitete in
Osnabrück als Friseur. Im Krieg diente er als Gefreiter in der 4. Kompanie des Reserve-InfanterieRegiments 229. Er starb am 31 Juli 1917 bei Langemarck in Belgien durch einen Kopfschuss.
Zur Erinnerung an ihn gab seine Familie ein Foto in das Osnabrücker „Kriegsarchiv“.

Engelbert Thorwesten wurde in Münster als Sohn eines Weichenstellers geboren und arbeitete in Osnabrück als Friseur. Im Krieg diente er als Gefreiter in der 4. Kompanie des Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments 229. Er starb am 31 Juli 1917 bei Langemarck in Belgien durch einen Kopfschuss.  &#13;
Zur Erinnerung an ihn gab seine Familie ein Foto in das Osnabrücker „Kriegsarchiv“.  &#13;
